The initiation to promote khadi in TS is laudable as KTR becoming brand ambassador for Khadi and insisting his ministerial staff to wear Khadi at least once in as week particularly on Monday . And at the same time requesting the prominent Cinema heroes through tweeting them to follow. The same spirit if other minister can follow we can see a remarkable change and directly or indirectly we will help the weaver of TS. As a Municipal administration Minster if he can take further one step to have all retail vendors of major and minor cities through GHMC instead of Biodegradable bags they should encourage use of cloth bags . It’s a request to the endowment minster that all the temples of Telangana Sate should use invariable the cloth bags for the purchase of coconut and swamy vari parasadham in temple premises.

We have seen most of the political party leaders from different parties approached them and consoled them by giving them the false promises. The problem remains the same but The KTR Represents the SIRSILL A division he has taken a wise step to promote Khadi in Telangan State . Wear Handloom concept is gaining the momentum and picking up very fast and the weaver Co-operative Society (TSCO) that looks after 380 primary societies providing work to around 13,000 weavers has witnessed a significant jump in its sales in the last few weeks and generated huge unprecedented record sales and earned excellent profits.
It looks that the importance of Khadi has gained the momentum and it looks that wevers have plenty of work and it will gain and impose confidence in them and with this we can hardly see any suicidal dealth pertaining to the weavers.
A proposal for usage of cloth bags at thirumala for Prasad distribution and save the lives of weaversAs we are aware that every day nearly one lakh some times even more pilgrimages visit thirumala thirupathi devasthanams and TTD needs more than a lakh plastic covers to distribute the same.
I had been to thirupathi very recently and of course they are distributing the BIO_ Degradable Cover only let me appreciate for them for giving importance to bio-diversity.

I am pleased to note the movie arts association organized cricket match by the tollywood actors for the benefit of the wavers welfare's society (Chenetha Karmikula Sankshemamam kosam) on 13 th June 2010 at LB stadium of Hyderabad.
I would like to complement the sponsors also for the noble cause. The whole society is thankful to the audience for the spirit behind the cause. I wish that similar programmes should be organized for the benefit of the needy and desirable.
The Chikuru Balagi temple of Hyderabad that they are using the cloth bags and they are very much successful in this regard. The chief priest has a great vision and he would like to help the poor weavers and he has succeeded in his attempt.
I have a suggestion for this:
• The Government of Andhra Pradesh and TTD has funds and the same funds should be used for a specific cause and it should be useful to the both the devotees and the weavers and in fact The Lord Venkateshwera will also appreciate this effort.
• We Know that the TTD has a very good(learned Directors) team of members and they should discuss in their board meetings and they should also take the consent of the government of Andhra Pradesh to implement the same.
• I Just don't see any reason for not implementing the scheme. The devotees are also not mind in paying extra for these cotton bags . It should be based on the number of laddus on should have for rs 5 and Rs 10 bags.
• During the Kalyanochavam they distribute Utthariaum ( Kanduva) to the performers of Kalyanothsavam can they give good quality cotton Uttharium (Kanduva) for the weavers society of Sirsilla or Karimnagar district.
• This scheme can be extended in all the important temples of Andhra Pradesh and we should save the lives of millions of weavers by doing this small initiation.
